At least 27 people died in a head-on collision between a minibus and a cargo truck, this Friday, in Zimbabwe. The accident occurred near the city of Chivhu.

The minibus, which was transporting church members to a conference, caught fire after the impact. The vehicle was reduced to its frame as a result of the fire.

Local authorities are investigating the circumstances that led to the accident, which involved a cargo truck and the passenger minibus.
