The detergent production unit located in Porto Alto, in the municipality of Benavente, was sold to new owners. The factory, dedicated to the manufacture of cleaning and hygiene products, received an investment as part of this ownership transition.
The company is one of the largest national exporters of cleaning and hygiene products to Australia. This export capacity was one of the factors highlighted in the sale operation of the manufacturing unit.
The ownership transition comes in a context of restructuring of the Portuguese industrial sector, particularly in the consumer products segment. The investment associated with the change of ownership should allow the factory to strengthen its production capacity and its position in the international market, especially in the Australian market where it already has an established presence.
