A 20-year-old man was arrested by the Judicial Police on suspicion of having killed his 50-year-old stepfather in the early hours of Thursday.

The crime occurred at the residence where both lived, located in the parish of Vermoim, in the municipality of Maia, in the district of Porto.

Authorities stated that the suspect was arrested on the same day the homicide took place, and was brought before the competent judicial authorities.
