Hot air flow makes thermometers rise. September begins with temperatures above 30ºC

The hot air flow is making thermometers rise in Portugal, starting September with temperatures above 30°C. This rise follows a late August that had been relatively mild. According to climatologist Mário Marques, in some areas of the country temperatures should exceed 35°C. In the interior of the Alentejo, thermometers could even reach or exceed 40°C.
