Rafael Leão, 27-year-old Portuguese international footballer, signed a four-season contract with Galatasaray, a Turkish club. The deal was set at 38 million euros and the Portuguese forward will earn an annual salary of 10 million euros.
The Istanbul club, four-time Turkish national champions, announced the signing of the player formed at Sporting. AC Milan, the player's former club, retained the right to 20% of the profit from a future transfer.
Galatasaray is an opponent of Sporting in the Champions League, creating an interesting context for the transfer of the Portuguese player between two clubs linked to his initial development.
