MÊDA: Voluntary Firefighters will receive a new firefighting vehicle

The Municipality of Mêda was represented on August 27 at the signing ceremony of the Financial Support Contracts for Humanitarian Associations of Voluntary Firefighters of the Central Region, which took place in Pinhel. During this ceremony, the Voluntary Firefighters of Mêda were awarded a new firefighting vehicle.

The ceremony was attended by the Secretary of State for Civil Protection, Rui Rocha, and the Secretary of State for Local Administration, highlighting the institutional importance of this event for the civil protection forces in the region.

The financial support contracts aim to strengthen the operational capabilities of the humanitarian associations of voluntary firefighters in the Central Region, contributing to the improvement of available resources in firefighting and other emergencies.
