PRAÇA DAS EIRAS FILLS WITH MUSIC ON THE FIRST NIGHT OF THE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF MACEDO

Praça das Eiras, in Macedo de Cavaleiros, hosted the first night of the 22nd edition of the International Traditional Music Festival, bringing together Portuguese and Spanish groups to celebrate music and popular traditions. The event began with a parade of the groups Bombos de Ala, Abelhudos and Pauliteiros de Salselas, which traveled through the streets from the city center to the festival venue.

On stage came the groups El Portal de Carmen, Pauliteiros de Salselas, Urze de Lume, Abelhudos, Bombos de Ala and Albaluna, presenting a program that crossed different expressions of traditional music, from Iberian folklore to Portuguese sounds and contemporary proposals.

The public enthusiastically supported the initiative, filling Praça das Eiras to follow a night marked by music, entertainment and valorization of traditions. The festival continues with new performances and moments of celebration of traditional culture.

A Praça das Eiras, em Macedo de Cavaleiros, recebeu a primeira noite da 22.ª edição do Festival Internacional de Música Tradicional, num encontro que juntou grupos portugueses e espanhóis em torno da música e das tradições populares.

A noite arrancou com uma arruada dos Bombos de Ala, Abelhudos e Pauliteiros de Salselas, que percorreu as ruas desde o centro da cidade até ao recinto do festival.

Em palco passaram El Portal de Carmen, Pauliteiros de Salselas, Urze de Lume, Abelhudos, Bombos de Ala e Albaluna, num programa que cruzou diferentes expressões da música tradicional, do folclore ibérico às sonoridades portuguesas e propostas contemporâneas.

O público aderiu à iniciativa e encheu a Praça das Eiras para acompanhar uma noite marcada pela música, animação e valorização das tradições.

O festival prossegue com novas atuações e momentos de celebração da cultura tradicional.

Faro Santander Celebrates 10 Days of Open Doors with Party, Music and Games!
