João Ribeiro and Messias Baptista won silver in the K2 500 meters event at the canoeing world championships. The Portuguese team completed the race in 1:27.57 minutes.
The Portuguese duo was only beaten by the German team composed of Jacob Schopf and Max Lemke, who finished with a time of 1:29.29 minutes.
With this result, the Portuguese athletes secured another medal for Portugal in the international canoeing competition.
