The 1984 edition of the Cascais-Lisboa, the 50th of the event, was marked by the so-called "Lopes' final push", which earned a lion-hearted victory. The race is one of the oldest national road competitions.
The last year the event was held was 2019, but its return is scheduled for November of this year.
