Authorities are investigating a drone operation carried out near Madeira International Airport – Cristiano Ronaldo, in Funchal. The situation was triggered after images captured near the airport infrastructure were shared on social media.
The case has already been formally reported to the National Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC) and to the PSP, through the Airport Security of Madeira Airport. The situation was also reported to the National Aeronautical Authority, completing the notification to the three entities responsible for this type of occurrence.
