The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA) published the weather forecast for this Sunday in Madeira, indicating sky with periods of heavy cloudiness throughout the day.

The forecast points to sky generally very cloudy on the north slope of Madeira island and on Porto Santo island, while the southwest slope should present sky generally slightly cloudy.

Weak precipitation is expected, especially from late afternoon, mainly affecting the north slope and the highlands of Madeira island.

The wind should blow weak to moderate, with gusts up to 30 kilometres per hour.
