Meteorologists warn that various parts of the European continent are now entering what is known as the "flash flood season." This period is characterized by episodes of intense and sudden rainfall.

After weeks of extreme heat, elevated temperatures combined with accumulated humidity create the perfect scenario for the occurrence of rapid and unpredictable flooding, which represent significant risks for the affected populations.

The question now is what weather September will bring to the Mediterranean region, in a context where the effects of heat waves are being felt increasingly intensely and frequently in Europe.
