Iceland decides whether to reopen negotiations with the European Union this Saturday

Iceland holds a referendum on Saturday to decide whether it wants to reopen accession negotiations with the European Union. The country had abandoned this idea more than a decade ago, but the election of a pro-European government reopened the discussion about a possible entry into the EU.
