Protest against attempt to privatize Arrábida beaches brings "hundreds" together in Setúbal

The movement "Deslarguem a Arrábida!" held today a protest in Setúbal against the attempt to privatize beaches and natural spaces of Arrábida. The movement made a "very, very positive" assessment of the mobilization, stating that the turnout was much higher than expected.

According to Daniela Rodrigues, from Left Bloc (BE) of Setúbal and co-promoter of the movement, "hundreds" of people showed up at the protest, a number that the organizers couldn't estimate precisely due to the great turnout.

The movement guaranteed that it will remain mobilized in defense of public access to the beaches and natural spaces of Arrábida, repudiating any attempt to privatize these spaces.
