The rapid intervention of Castelló Local Police, alerted by a citizen, prevented another illegal occupation attempt of a home on Friday night. The agents acted after receiving a call informing about a new entry attempt in a house located on the central street Pintor Castell, located behind the Francisco Ribalta institute, and the occupation did not materialize.
On Saturday morning, the Local Police completed the action by sealing the door and placing the corresponding "No access" warning, thus guaranteeing the security of the property. Municipal sources indicated that this was the sixth time that the agents prevented an occupation since the month of June.
This new episode highlights the persistence of the illegal occupation problem of homes in the city, which continues to affect central areas. The collaboration between security forces and neighbors has been fundamental in preventing these attempts, as demonstrated by the call that allowed the immediate action of the police.
