The villages appear partially buried in the images captured by drones, revealing the extent of the damage caused by the catastrophe. The affected areas show large amounts of accumulated mud and rubble.
Rescue operations remain active in various areas of the district, according to local media reports. Authorities are still assessing the damage and trying to locate possible survivors in the affected communities.
The incident occurred days before the aerial images were released, causing significant destruction in populated areas of Nuwakot district, located in the central region of Nepal.
