The heat is returning to mainland Portugal after several days of meteorological instability, temperature drops and some precipitation that marked the end of August. The change in atmospheric conditions promises to bring high temperatures back to Portuguese territory.
The first week of September should be characterized by predominantly hot and dry weather, marking a significant change from the previous days. Portuguese people can thus expect a return to typical summer weather, contradicting the cool trend that has been felt recently.
According to forecasts, temperatures will rise sharply, possibly reaching values close to 40 degrees in some regions of the country. This thermal rise represents a substantial change from the values recorded in recent days.
The return of intense heat follows a period of instability that affected various areas of mainland Portugal, bringing with it cloudiness, rain and a notable drop in temperatures.
