Antonio Fagundes shared this Saturday (29) classic scenes from the soap opera "Dancin' Days" on his Instagram profile, bringing a nostalgic mood to his followers. The actor posted a carousel format post with photos and videos of memorable moments from the soap opera.

The soap opera "Dancin' Days" was aired by TV Globo in 1978 and was a great hit. It was written by Gilberto Braga with story by Janete Clair and directed by Daniel Filho. It was Fagundes' first prime time soap opera.

In the soap opera, Antonio Fagundes played the character Cacá (Carlos Eduardo), a diplomat, forming a romantic couple with Sônia Braga, who played Júlia Matos. The two are considered one of the most well-known couples in the history of Brazilian television.

In the post caption, Fagundes recalled that in 1978 "Dancin' Days" premiered and that it was his first prime time soap opera, highlighting the partnership with dear Sônia Braga.

The author argues that this "vocabulary and cultural impoverishment" results from the decline in reading and interest, citing Irene Vallejo and Gregorio Luri to defend that reading strengthens language and that school failure is fundamentally a linguistic failure. It concludes that "it's the same thing" represents a closure into ignorance, where even distinct concepts are reduced to vaguely similar categories.
