The Portimão Territorial Command of the Republican National Guard (GNR) arrested ten men on suspicion of smuggling. The arrests were carried out by the Criminal Investigation Unit (NIC) of Portimão.
The police operation originated from the detection of movements considered suspicious by the military personnel. After monitoring the situation, the NIC elements approached two light goods vehicles.
The ten detained men were made defendants and the procedures were referred to the Judicial Court of Portimão.
