Police chase ends with major accident in Algés and car on fire

A police chase ended in Algés with a serious accident and a vehicle on fire. Traffic on Avenida Brasília was closed during the cleanup work that followed the incident. At least three people were injured as a result of the chase, one of them in serious condition. Authorities are proceeding with the cleanup of the road while investigating the full circumstances of the accident.
