Nearly 40 personnel are fighting an active wildfire in the Algarve. The fire is being combated in the parish of Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo, in the municipality of Tavira. Military Police locate 3-year-old girl taken by bandits after family's car was stolen in Rio's North Zone

A 3-year-old girl was found by the Military Police inside a stolen car on Friday night (28) in Vicente de Carvalho, in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro. Criminals took the vehicle during a robbery near Morro do Urubu, and the child ended up being taken along. The PM found the car abandoned about two kilometers from the crime scene, with the girl and a cell phone inside. Through the device, police were able to contact the family, and the child's father thanked the PM for recovering "the most precious thing," stating that "material things" can be replaced. The Civil Police is investigating the case to identify the criminals.
