Wall Street closes session with slight losses

New York Stock Exchange closed Friday's session, August 28, in negative territory, with the main indices registering slight losses. The Dow Jones fell 0.02% to 53,559.34 points, the S&P 500 lost 0.25% to 7,711.48 points, and the tech-heavy Nasdaq retreated 0.52% to 26,402.42 points.

The week was marked by a strong performance of technology stocks, driven by the excellent results of the company Nvidia.

Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsch gave a speech in Jackson Hole during the week, in which he expressed concern about inflation and said there is still "work to be done" to reach the 2% target.

A bolsa de Nova encerrou sessão, desta sexta-feira, 28 de agosto, em terreno negativo.

Assim, o Dow Jones cedeu 0,02% para 53.559,34 pontos, o S&P 500 perdeu 0,25% para 7.711,48 pontos, e o tecnológico Nasdaq recuou 0,52% para 26.402,42 pontos.

A semana foi marcada pelo forte desempenho das ações de tecnologia, pelos excelentes resultados da Nvidia e pelo discurso do presidente do Federal Reserve, Kevin Warsch, em Jackson Hole, no qual ele expressou preocupação com a inflação e afirmou que ainda há “trabalho a ser feito” para atingir a meta de 2%.

The court reduced the initial amount of €16,869.68, eliminating interest and surcharges that Social Security failed to justify.
