The leader of PS/Açores, Francisco César, today demanded from the Republic's Government an urgent solution for the problems that continue to affect the reimbursements of air travel for Azoreans, according to a party statement.
Francisco César guarantees that PS will not allow any citizen to be harmed by delays, platform failures that process the reimbursements of the territorial continuity mechanism, or by non-compliance with the law.
This mechanism, which replaced the former social mobility subsidy, aims to support the costs of air travel for residents in the Azores. However, the platform that processes these reimbursements has presented recurring failures.
The party led by Francisco César thus reinforces its position in defense of the rights of Azoreans, demanding that the central Executive resolve these issues quickly that directly affect the population of the autonomous region.
