Association Without Limits seeks to boost the availability of the Medical Certificate of Multiple Disability in digital format

APPNE-ASL – Portuguese Association of People with Special Needs – Association Without Limits informed that it formally contacted the Prime Minister's Office to follow up on its proposal for the availability of the Medical Certificate of Multiple Disability (AMIM) in digital format. The association intends for this document to be accessible through the GOV.PT application.

The measure aims to facilitate access to documents that prove the condition of citizens with disabilities, eliminating the need to carry physical versions of the certificate. The association considers that the digitization of this document represents a significant advance in bureaucratic simplification.

The proposal is part of a broader effort to modernize public services in Portugal through the GOV.PT digital platform. Association Without Limits continues to work so that this initiative moves forward and is implemented soon.

Extraordinary and temporary support for cooperatives now in effect

The Portuguese Government published Order No. 395/2026, which establishes the rules for extraordinary and temporary support to agricultural cooperatives and the fisheries sector, compensating for logistical costs in own transport.
