The Minister for Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, Elma Saiz, criticised the People's Party and Vox for their dehumanising approach to the migratory crisis in Ceuta. During her intervention, Saiz stated that the Government acted within legality and humanity, in contrast to the opposition's proposals which, according to her, incite law-breaking.
The minister highlighted that the Executive has been present in Ceuta, executing a comprehensive socioeconomic development plan and maintaining constant contact with local entities. Saiz also questioned the opposition parties' capacity to fulfil their responsibilities and defended the Government's commitment to the Ceuta population.
Saiz concluded by urging the opposition to condemn violence and show more solidarity towards the extraordinary situation the city is experiencing. She underlined that Ceuta's Spanishness is defended by supporting the Government and respecting the country's institutions.
