JPP says that aid of 150,000 euros to victims of earthquakes in Venezuela only moved forward after denunciation

The JPP announced that the aid of 150,000 euros to the victims of the earthquakes in Venezuela only moved forward after the party made a public denunciation. The party considers that the funds, which were announced by the Regional Government almost two months ago, had not yet reached the institutions that accompany on the ground the Madeiran community affected by the earthquakes.

The JPP warned that the 150,000 euros promised by the Regional Government had not yet been implemented, despite having been announced almost two months ago. This situation led the party to make a denunciation about the delay in the implementation of the promised aid.

After the JPP's denunciation, the announcement of the advancement of the 150,000 euros was made. The party understands that without its intervention, the funds could continue without being distributed to the institutions that work on the ground with the Madeiran community affected in Venezuela.

The institutions that accompany the Madeiran community in Venezuela are responsible for receiving and distributing the aid to the victims of the earthquakes. The JPP emphasizes that its action was determinant for the process of sending the funds to finally move forward.
