LIVE: Augusto Cury participates in a CBN, O Globo and Valor forum

Avante party candidate for President of the Republic, Augusto Cury, participated on this Thursday (27) in a live forum promoted by CBN and the newspapers O Globo and Valor. The event was part of the coverage of the first round of the 2026 elections.

The interview was conducted by Mílton Jung, representing CBN, and by journalists Lauro Jardim and Malu Gaspar, from O Globo, as well as Maria Cristina Fernandes, from Valor.

Augusto Cury is known as a psychologist and self-help book author, having launched himself as a presidential candidate for the Avante party.

The live forum allowed journalists to ask the candidate directly about his plans and proposals for the country.

Municipality of Vila Real de Santo António signs deeds for 114 housing units from the former Cine-Foz

The Municipality of Vila Real de Santo António formalized the acquisition of 114 housing units on the former Cine-Foz land, in an investment of 27.2 million euros funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan. The deeds were signed at the City Hall with the presence of president Álvaro Araújo and the president of IHRU. This acquisition is part of the municipal strategy to strengthen public housing, which has already included 70, 29, and 7 units in previous phases, in addition to 372 rehabilitated housing units. The housing units are intended for the local population and will be assigned through a competition to be launched shortly. The construction of 96 housing units near Intermarché is also planned.

Regional Government supports regional meeting to value elderly caregivers in Santana

The Santana Cidade Solidária Association will hold on October 21, at Quinta do Furão, in Madeira, the Regional Meeting 'The Meaning of Caring', dedicated to valuing elderly caregivers.
