The PT candidate for governor of São Paulo, Fernando Haddad, intends to use free airtime on radio and television to make voters wake up from a supposed "ideological trance". The information was confirmed by Haddad's campaign coordinator, Federal Deputy Kiko Celeguim, from the PT.
According to Haddad's allies, the portion of the population in "trance" is composed of voters who are convinced of their vote for the rival, Governor Tarcísio de Freitas, only for ideological reasons, and not necessarily because they positively evaluate the Republican's management.
Haddad's campaign's internal assessment is that 30% of Tarcísio's voters are in this condition. Mandatory campaign airtime on radio and television begins this Friday, the 28th.
Released on Tuesday, a new round of the Quaest poll shows Tarcísio ahead of Haddad in the race for governor of São Paulo.
