The former director of Maintenance of the Electric Mode at Carris, Filipe Fraga, and Gustavo Pita Soares, managing partner of the company MNTC, have been named suspects in the process investigating the Elevador da Glória accident.
Filipe Fraga worked at Carris, the company responsible for Lisbon's historic elevators. Gustavo Pita Soares is the managing partner of MNTC, the company that was in charge of maintaining the historic elevators of the Portuguese capital.
Both are now formally suspects within the scope of the inquiry that investigates the circumstances of the accident that occurred at the Elevador da Glória, one of the iconic and tourist landmarks of the city of Lisbon.
