Traffic is closed on the São Sebastião viaduct in Areosa. Vehicle circulation is completely prohibited at that location, impacting mobility in the area.

The closure is due to a malfunction in the viaduct's water drainage pump. The mechanical problem prompted the preventive closure of the road infrastructure.

The Parish Council was the entity responsible for disseminating the alert about the situation, informing residents and road users about the restrictions in place.

The forecast indicates the issue should be resolved by this Friday, when normal traffic flow on the viaduct is expected to resume.
