Where you place the television can tire your neck and worsen the picture

The height and location where the television is installed can significantly affect both picture quality and viewing comfort. The article highlights that, for wall-mounted televisions, a good rule is to position the center of the screen approximately at the viewer's eye level when seated, which can be slightly below that line.

The main objective of this recommendation is to prevent the viewer from being forced to tilt their head up during long viewing periods. This position can cause neck fatigue and physical discomfort over time.

The article warns that a television mounted too high, as happens when it is placed above a fireplace, can force the viewer to keep their head tilted up continuously, which aggravates physical strain and can contribute to neck pain.
