"CHEGA does not accept a Madeira governed for friends, for interests and for cronyism"

CHEGA, through its deputy Francisco Gomes, advocated a break with Madeira's regional governance model, considering it to be oriented towards vested interests, cronyism and favoritism. Gomes demanded that the people of Madeira and the concrete problems of families take first place in the region's political priorities.

Francisco Gomes visited the São Vicente festivities, accompanied by the regional structure of CHEGA. During the visit, the deputy expressed his position against what he considers to be a regional governance that benefits groups close to power to the detriment of citizens.

The official criticized by Francisco Gomes is Miguel Albuquerque, President of the Regional Government of Madeira. The article was cut off, making it impossible to understand the full extent of the accusations or proposals presented by the CHEGA parliamentarian during his visit.
