Four European Union countries have renewed a proposal to use frozen Russian assets in support of Ukraine. The measure comes at a time when the country is facing strong budgetary pressure to keep its finances stable.
EU member states are under pressure to find a solution before the next electoral season. This time pressure adds complexity to negotiations between the member countries of the European bloc.
