IHRU opens tender for controlled-cost rental housing in Guarda-Gare

The Instituto da Habitação e da Reabilitação Urbana (IHRU) opened a lottery competition for the rental of 26 cost-controlled housing units on Rua São Pedro in Guarda-Gare. Applications are open until September 17th, under the Rental Support Program. The available housing units have undergone rehabilitation works.

Albergaria-A-Velha: Agreement signed with landowners of land covered by future 'City Park'

The municipality of Albergaria-A-Velha celebrated an agreement with a family owning rustic land essential for the construction of the future City Park, a green corridor located next to Largo dos Chorões. The agreement provides for the payment of almost 210 thousand euros for an area of 17,512 square meters. The park, with approximately 3.7 hectares, will be situated north of the city center and will include paths, functional spaces, balanced ecosystems and about 120 trees of various species, such as silver birch, ash and pedunculate oak, as well as herbaceous plants such as lavender and rosemary, offering the population a green space of landscape and social value.
