The farmhand from Lagos was identified as the perpetrator of the homicide of a couple, having used an iron bar to attack the victims. After killing the couple, the suspect threw chlorine and thinner on the bodies, in an act that occurred before or after the victims' death.
The autopsy on the couple's bodies was performed this Tuesday at the legal medical office in Portimão. The forensic medical examination aims to determine the exact causes of death and collect evidence that can be used in the judicial process against the suspect.
The farmhand was detained by the authorities and is currently in preventive detention, awaiting trial. The investigation proceeded based on evidence that led authorities to identify the suspect as the perpetrator of the crime.
