Globo announced that "Avenida Brasil 2" will be its next nine o'clock novel, a continuation of the phenomenon that moved Brazil in 2012. The premiere is scheduled for January 2027, when it will replace "Quem ama cuida" in the time slot.
From the original cast, nine actors are already confirmed: Adriana Esteves, Cauã Reymond, Débora Falabella, Eliane Giardini, Juliano Cazarré, Karol Lannes, Leticia Isnard, Marcos Caruso and Murilo Benício, who will reprise their roles from the first version.
The continuation will also feature new actors who did not participate in the original novel. Among the new names are Cris Vianna, Drico Alves, Ernani Moraes, Fábio Scalon, Jéssica Ellen, Karine Teles, Ravel Andrade, Roberto Bonfim, Thalita Carauta, Thiago Rodrigues and Thomás Aquino, who will play new characters in the story.
On this Tuesday (15th), the network began to release part of the confirmed cast for the production, generating excitement among fans of the original plot that remained marked in the memory of the Brazilian audience.
