Shakira celebrated the start of the "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran" tour in Madrid, Spain. On Tuesday, the 15th, the Colombian singer shared photos and a text thanking the Spanish audience for their support throughout all the years of her career. The artist stated she was very excited to return to Spain, where she lived some of the most important years of her life.
The Colombian singer mentioned that when she left the country, she went through one of the most difficult moments she had ever lived, but managed to rebuild herself as a woman, mother and artist. Throughout this entire journey, according to her, her Spanish fans were always by her side, supporting, loving and wishing the best for her.
Shakira promised to give her best in the next 12 shows in Spain. She also referenced singer Gardel and highlighted that the Atlantic is no longer an ocean that separates, but a bond that unites Latin nations. The show took place at a stadium built specifically for her performances.
