The president judge of the Judicial Court of the District of Beja, Maria Cruz Nascimento, inaugurated the new Palace of Justice of the city, marking a significant moment for the administration of justice in the region. During the ceremony, the magistrate stated that it was a good day for Justice and for the District.

The opening of this new judicial space represents the end of the dispersion of the units of the nucleus of Beja, a situation that had been occurring since 2014. This reorganization now allows the reunification of services that were divided in different locations.

With the completion of the works of the new Palace of Justice, judicial services now function in an integrated manner in a single building, providing better conditions for both professionals and users of the judicial system in the district of Beja.
