Deputy Paulo Muacho, from the Livre party, criticized the response of the Government of Luís Montenegro to the increase in the cost of living in Portugal. Muacho considers that the executive is not taking measures to stop the escalation of prices that affects citizens.
The Deputy highlights that the problem is not limited to fuels. Housing prices and rents are also rising significantly, increasing the financial pressure on Portuguese families.
Paulo Muacho states that the Government is not taking "absolutely no measures" to address this situation. This position was expressed in the context of an analysis of the performance of the Executive led by Luís Montenegro.
The Livre party, through its Deputy, thus points to an absence of governmental intervention at a time of growing economic difficulty for the population.
