The Government delivered today, at the Riverside Park of Amarante, eight tractors destined for municipal forest management operations and fire prevention. The initiative is part of the Mechanization Program for Fuel Management, a program financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).
The eight tractors will be used by eight different municipalities for forest management operations. The event featured interventions from the mayor of Amarante, among other authorities present at the ceremony.
This delivery is part of a broader strategy for fire prevention through fuel management in forest areas. The investment is part of the Executive's efforts to reinforce municipalities' capacity for forest protection.
