The AMÁLIA project has advanced to the second development phase with the publication of the Council of Ministers resolution in Diário da República. This resolution formalizes the continuation of the project that aims to implement artificial intelligence tools in the Portuguese Public Administration.
The funding for this new phase has been boosted by 1.8 million euros, allowing the expansion of the project's capabilities. AMÁLIA includes not only text processing tools, but also image and voice capabilities, thus covering various areas of application.
The project will continue to be developed until 2027, with the aim of modernizing and optimizing public services through artificial intelligence agents. This initiative represents a significant investment in the digital transformation of the Portuguese State.
