The Europress printing company, founded in 1986 and based in the Alvalade area of Lisbon, was acquired by national investors Carlos Fernandes Neves and Rui Bello da Silva. The transaction was completed on September 14 and comes as part of the succession process of the founding family, marking the beginning of a new phase for the Portuguese company. The value of the acquisition was not disclosed.
The company currently has approximately 25 workers and records annual revenue of approximately 1.4 million euros, presenting a history of positive results and a client portfolio that includes several reference publishers in Portugal.
The company management will be assumed by Carlos Fernandes Neves and Rui Bello da Silva, who will be responsible for strategic definition and business monitoring. Both have experience in investment, acquisition, and corporate restructuring, both in financial and legal aspects. The day-to-day operational management will be handled by Carlos Manuel Neves as General Manager and Mário Conceição as Operations Director.
The previous partners, Carlos Vintém and Mafalda Vintém, will remain connected to Europress during the initial transition phase. The new investors intend to preserve the company's technical heritage and introduce modern methodologies aimed at growth, combining the knowledge accumulated over 40 years with new skills and market opportunities.
