Finance Leaders Combine Technique and Behavior

The recruiters Felipe Brunieri and Guilherme Malfi, from Assetz Expert Recruitment, challenge the simplified idea that Finance professionals are hired for technical ability and fired only for behavioral issues. The nature of the financial area requires that technical knowledge remains relevant even in leadership positions, covering legislation, accounting standards, tax matters, treasury, and financial planning. Brunieri warns that both technical and behavioral factors influence termination decisions, and Malfi reinforces that the popular saying is a simplification of reality.
