FlixBus changes stop in Peniche to reinforce transport connections offering

FlixBus has been operating since Monday, September 14, at a new stop in Peniche, located at Largo do Tribunal Judicial, on Avenida Papa Paulo VI. This change marks the end of the transport company's operation at the city's Bus Terminal and, according to the company, will allow for an increase in the number of schedules and destinations available to passengers. The new location was defined in coordination with the Peniche City Council and the Intermunicipal Community of the West.

The decision comes after more than two years of attempts to obtain authorization for new schedules at the Peniche terminal, managed by Rodoviária do Oeste. According to FlixBus, the requests submitted in 2023 and 2024 were refused or received no response, citing a lack of capacity in the infrastructure.
