The Public Security Police detained on Monday, in the city of Guimarães, a 30-year-old man for the crime of driving without legal qualification. The detention occurred during a routine inspection operation carried out by the PSP.
During the inspection, PSP agents verified that the suspect did not have any license to drive motor vehicles. The man was made a defendant and submitted to identity and residence terms.
This detention is part of the regular activity of the PSP in combating driving without legal qualification, an offense that constitutes an autonomous crime in the Portuguese legal system. Authorities continue to carry out inspection operations on the roads to ensure compliance with traffic regulations.
