Ronnie Wood, a Rolling Stones member, took to the stage at the Coliseu dos Recreios in Lisbon this Monday night for a concert that celebrated over six decades of musical career. At 79, the British musician proved to be in excellent shape, showing that he still has much to offer the audience.
The show was described as a gathering of old and new friends, in an intimate atmosphere typical of the iconic Lisbon venue. Ronnie Wood went through his vast repertoire, presenting songs from his solo career and his work with different bands.
Besides Rolling Stones and Faces classics, the band he was part of for several years, the concert included good covers of songs by other artists. The audience had the opportunity to hear versions of tracks by Bob Dylan, Rod Stewart and the Shangri-Las, demonstrating Wood's musical versatility.
