The historic session of the Supreme Federal Court (STF) that will decide whether to open an investigation against Minister Alexandre de Moraes is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and will be broadcast live. The Federal Police indicate that Vorcaro met with Moraes eight times and asked the minister for help to stop the actions against Banco Master. This Tuesday's (15) decision will be made under strong wear on the STF in public opinion.
The lawyer and professor of Constitutional Law at the Law School of PUC-SP, Marcelo Figueiredo, gave an interview to CBN Radio about the case. He highlighted the unprecedented nature of the process, stating that it is absolutely unprecedented in the history of the Supreme Court and that there is no ready-made cake recipe for this session.
According to the specialist, everything will depend on the sensitivity of the rapporteur of the case, Minister Fachin. Figueiredo also highlighted the possibility that the group supporting Minister Alexandre de Moraes may try to postpone the trial or raise a nullity. He believes that this maneuver is possible, but evaluates that Fachin will try to work around the situation.
