Nazaré will receive a new funicular that will connect the town to the Pederneira neighborhood. The project represents an investment of 10 million euros and aims to facilitate travel between these two areas of the locality.
The funicular should enter testing phase by the end of the year, in a final preparation stage. The opening to the public is scheduled for January, when the tests are successfully completed.
This transport infrastructure aims to improve mobility in the region and facilitate access between the different areas of Nazaré, meeting the needs of residents and visitors.
