The Federal Police report that will be analyzed by the Supreme Federal Court ministers on Tuesday reveals that banker Daniel Vorcaro sent 52 messages to Minister Alexandre de Moraes. The dialogues were recorded in the weeks preceding the banker's first arrest and the liquidation of Banco Master.
In the messages listed in the document, Vorcaro sought advice and support from Moraes to try to reverse the two measures taken against him and against the financial institution. The banker used terms such as "gratitude" and "together since always" in the communications.
The investigations show that Vorcaro contacted authorities from the Three Branches of the Republic to try to circumvent the situation and avoid the sanctions that were applied. The document was prepared by order of Minister André Mendonça.
Tuesday's public session will analyze the 218-page report detailing the exchange of messages between Vorcaro and Moraes, and may decide whether to authorize the investigation into the facts stated in the PF document.
