The national ice dance athletes Cláudia and Marco Amaro Letestu carried out during the month of August a two-week training camp in Washington, United States of America, as part of the preparation for their participation in the ISU Junior Grand Prix 2026 circuit. During this period, the siblings worked under the guidance of the renowned French coach Pierre Souquet, in an intensive program that combined on-ice sessions with dance classes, aiming at the technical and artistic improvement of the duo.
This preparation is particularly important given the athletes' next international commitments, who will compete in the ISU Junior Grand Prix in Ankara, Turkey, between September 17 and 19, followed by the stage in Gdansk, Poland, from October 8 to 10. Before their trip to the United States, Cláudia and Marco also completed four weeks of preparation in Nantes, France, accompanied by their coach Antoine Charrier, continuing the work developed for the start of the new competitive season.
